The Soulbird Process
While you get back to living your life, I take the stress and guesswork out by curating spaces that feel effortless, inviting, and entirely yours. Think less overwhelm, more clarity. I blend intuition, expertise, and a dash of daring to create homes that reflect who you are: elevated, functional, and full of soul.
My process is designed to feel flexible and collaborative. Clients can choose to engage me for all stages or just the ones they need most. Some crave full transformation; others just need clarity (or a gentle nudge out of their comfort zone). Either way, the goal is the same, to create a home that feels intentional, effortless, and unmistakably you.
Step 1. Consultation & Discovery
We kick off with a deep dive into your space; think of it as our creative brainstorm.
I’ll listen intently to your goals, your instincts, and how you want your home to feel. We’ll chat lifestyle, budget, and functionality so I can build a clear design brief that reflects both your vision and how you actually live.
Step 2. Style & Colour Clarification
Think of this as your refined, personalised Pinterest , without the overwhelm.
Here’s where we distil your style story into something tangible. Through look-and-feel imagery, curated colour palettes, and directional guidance, I’ll help clarify what resonates with you most, while opening you up to new ideas and possibilities.
It’s a visual conversation that defines the mood, tone, and emotional essence of your home before we move into selections.
Step 3. Selections
This is where the magic takes form. I’ll present carefully curated options for furniture, décor, and finishes, grouped by room so you can see how it all connects.
With access to trade-only suppliers, custom makers, and exclusive collections, your options go beyond retail; unique, intentional, and tailored to your home.
You’ll also see digital mood boards and sample collections evolve as we refine the look together, so every decision feels clear and cohesive.
Step 4. Refinements
Each item comes with the option to approve, decline, or add notes, keeping everything collaborative and transparent.
We’ll fine-tune details, swap out what doesn’t feel right, and polish until every element is aligned with your vision (and lifestyle). This is where good becomes exceptional, where your space starts to truly feel like you.
Step 5. Styling & Completion
This is the soul-filled finale.
Once your pieces arrive, I bring it all together through styling, layering, and those finishing details that shift a space from ‘nice’ to effortless.
Cushions, art, greenery, lighting: the mood changes, the energy settles, and suddenly, it all just feels right.

Start by filling in the detailed contact form on my website. From there, I’ll be in touch to arrange a time for a quick chat, where we can talk through your space, your needs, and how I can help bring your vision to life. Every project begins with a conversation.
-
I work with a curated network of local and Australian-wide suppliers, many of which are trade-only or boutique brands not available to the general public. My selections are always guided by quality, style, sustainability, and how well the piece will complement your space.
I take the time to personally research and visit showrooms—both locally and interstate—so you don’t have to. This allows me to source unique, high-quality pieces that reflect your home’s personality and energy.
Where possible, I’m also able to pass on a portion of my trade pricing to you, offering extra value while still managing the full sourcing and logistics process.
-
Absolutely. Many of my clients are time-poor professionals or families who value beautiful, bespoke design and want a home that feels elevated yet deeply personal. Whether you’re investing in custom furniture, premium finishes, or full-home styling, I bring the same level of care, discretion, and considered detail to every project—large or small.
-
Yes, I collaborate closely with a trusted project manager, who has her own hand selected trade team that she coordinates and oversees from start to finish including demolition, tilers, painters, cabinetmakers, electricians, and installers just to name a few. This allows us both work to our strengths simultaneously, resulting in a more time efficient productive outcome.
In addition, I also work alongside a talented interior designer who can design and document custom cabinetry and layout changes where required. Together, we are the girl power house team to ensure your design vision is fully supported—from concept to completion.
-
Interior decorating focuses on the aesthetic elements—furniture, colour palettes, textures, layout and styling—while interior design often involves structural changes. I specialise in holistic decorating that transforms your space visually and energetically, and collaborate with a designer and project manager for any more technical elements.
-
My approach isn’t about a signature look — it’s about listening intently to what my clients are drawn to and interpreting their vision in a way that feels personal and timeless. I focus on creating spaces that balance functionality with atmosphere, where flow and proportion feel effortless and every piece has purpose.
I’m known for layering warmth, texture, and colour in a way that feels soulful and connected, often drawing inspiration from nature and hand-crafted details. While I’ll always respect the era and character of a home, I’m not afraid to gently push clients beyond their comfort zone, offering ideas that elevate the space while still feeling authentically theirs
-
Absolutely. This is your space—and it should reflect you. I guide you through refined, curated options to avoid overwhelm, but you’ll always have the final say on key decisions.
-
Yes! I love incorporating special items—whether it’s an artwork, a family heirloom, or a piece you’ve already invested in. The aim is always to create harmony between the old and the new.
-
This can vary significantly depending on the size of the room, whether we’re incorporating bespoke or custom pieces, and what’s required to bring your vision to life (e.g. trades, storage solutions, lighting, or soft furnishings).
As a general guide, I recommend allowing $15,000–$20,000 per room for a complete transformation. This gives us the flexibility to create a beautiful, balanced space using quality furnishings and finishes that will stand the test of time.
During our consultation, I’ll walk you through what’s realistic for your goals and budget—every project is tailored.
